1. Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure your photography session.
Deposits may be paid:
- Online via PayPal.
- In cash to a participating surf or kite school (where applicable).
Partner schools collecting deposits on behalf of Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) must transfer all deposits to Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL upon booking or directly to the assigned photographer at the time of the session.
Bookings are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, illness, injury, travel disruptions, weather conditions, changes of mind, no-shows, or inability to participate.
2. Payment
The remaining balance is due at the time of your photography session.
Clients are required to pay 100% of the session fee before or during the session.
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Cash
- PayPal
- Other approved payment methods where available.
Images will not be delivered until full payment has been received.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule their session by providing at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to photographer availability and suitable weather conditions.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, failure to attend, or arriving excessively late may result in the loss of the booking.
Please note that the 25% booking deposit remains non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation or rescheduling.
4. Refund Policy
All bookings are non-refundable.
The 25% booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances and without exception.
The remaining balance paid for a session is also non-refundable once the photography service has commenced.
Refunds of any amounts other than the deposit will only be considered at the sole discretion of Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) in exceptional circumstances. No client has an automatic right to a refund.
5. Photographer Availability
While every effort will be made to provide your preferred photographer, Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) reserves the right to assign another qualified photographer if necessary due to illness, emergencies, scheduling conflicts, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Weather & Ocean Conditions
Safety is always our priority.
Sessions may be postponed or rescheduled if weather, surf, wind, tides, visibility, or ocean conditions make photography unsafe or impractical.
These decisions are made by Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) and the assigned photographer.
7. Delivery of Images
Images are normally delivered on the same day as your session via an online gallery or download link.
Delivery times may vary if:
- additional editing or retouching is requested;
- technical issues occur;
- exceptionally large sessions require additional processing time; or
- another delivery timeframe has been agreed upon in advance.
8. Editing
Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) maintains a consistent editing style.
Editing decisions, including colour grading, cropping, exposure adjustments, and image selection, remain at the photographer’s artistic discretion.
Extensive retouching or special editing may incur additional charges.
9. Use of Images
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) reserves the right to use photographs and video captured during your session for:
- Portfolio
- Website
- Social media
- Advertising
- Printed marketing materials
- Editorial and promotional purposes
Clients who do not wish their images to be used for promotional purposes must notify us before the photography session begins.
Clients receive a licence for personal use unless otherwise agreed.
Images may not be sold, commercially reproduced, altered for commercial purposes, or used by businesses or third parties without prior written permission.
10. Copyright
All photographs remain the intellectual property and copyright of the photographer and/or Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Purchasing images does not transfer copyright ownership.
11. Liability Waiver
Surfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling, paddleboarding and other water sports involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, equipment damage, property damage, or death.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that:
- Participation is entirely voluntary.
- You participate at your own risk.
- Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL), its photographers, contractors, employees, and partner schools provide photography services only.
- We are not responsible for participant safety or supervision.
- We are not liable for injuries, accidents, equipment damage, loss of personal belongings, weather conditions, ocean hazards, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Participants remain responsible for following all instructions provided by instructors, guides, surf schools, and equipment providers.
12. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Arrive on time.
- Provide accurate booking information.
- Follow all safety instructions.
- Respect photographers, instructors, schools, and other participants.
- Ensure they are physically capable of participating in the chosen activity.
13. Image Storage
Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) will make reasonable efforts to retain image files after delivery.
However, long-term archiving cannot be guaranteed.
Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their photographs immediately after delivery.
14. Privacy & Personal Data
Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) collects only the personal information necessary to process bookings, communicate with clients, and deliver photography services.
Your personal information will never be sold to third parties.
Information may be shared only with:
- the assigned photographer;
- participating partner schools involved in your booking; or
- trusted payment providers where required to complete your transaction.
By booking a session, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your information for these purposes.
15. Payment Security
Online payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers.
Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) does not store complete payment card information on its systems.
Clients are responsible for ensuring payment information provided is accurate.
16. Force Majeure
Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to provide services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Dangerous ocean conditions
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Illness
- Equipment failure
- Transportation disruptions
- Power or internet outages
17. Agreement
By paying a deposit, making full payment, or participating in a Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) photography session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Booking Policies & Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Salt Water Photos (Sustainable Surfer Girl Marketing SARL) reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
